Reimagining a detached family home with a refined mid-century approach.

K Space Interiors had the pleasure of reimagining a large, detached five-bedroom house in the heart of Dulwich Village. Originally restructured by an architect in the early 2000s, the house needed an internal update when we were brought on board.

Our approach was to rejuvenate the property while honoring its mid-century origins. We meticulously updated the kitchen, laundry room, and all bathrooms, infusing them with a luxurious style and finish. Emphasizing texture, quality, and color, we introduced elements like micro cement, terrazzo, and natural stone, achieving a timeless yet sophisticated aesthetic.

Respecting the home's original 1950s/60s bungalow character, we crafted interiors that are both contemporary and enduring. The result is a sophisticated, elegant space that nods to its historical roots, perfectly blending modern family living with mid-century charm.

“Krys helped with a high value complete house refurb of a 3700 sq ft house in Dulwich. She was very engaged throughout the process, with good ideas and responsiveness to feedback.”

“Krys doesn’t just design—she uncovers your style and brings it to life. My home is now an inspiring, cool space I never could have created on my own. Highly recommend!”
