A classic cottage reworked with a contemporary edge.
A confident colour palette combined with bold wall coverings reawakens these interiors. Though the initial brief was simply to refresh the kitchen and hallway in this compact but elegant period cottage, the project developed into a full, gentle renovation, including a new kitchen;; adding creative storage in the form of repurposed and antique finds; refreshing flooring and commissioning bespoke joinery. Design motifs include considered colour accents, such as an aqua blue kitchen and rich burgundy tones, combined with neutral tones to achieve a finely tuned balance between airiness and textural interest.
