A classic cottage receives a dose of contemporary cool

A confident colour palette combined with bold wall coverings has reawakened these interiors. Though the initial brief was simply to refresh the kitchen and hallway in this compact but elegant period cottage, our studio ended up working on a full, gentle renovation that involved installing a new kitchen; adding creative storage in the form of repurposed and antique finds; refreshing flooring and commissioning bespoke joinery. Design motifs throughout include considered colour pops, such as an aqua blue kitchen or rich burgundy motifs, combined with neutral tones to achieve a finely tuned balance between airiness and textural interest.

“Krys transformed my little Richmond cottage into a stunning, stylish space that feels more mine than I ever imagined. Professional, inspiring, and a true artist, beyond all dreams and expectations!”

Philip, RICHMOND

“With an incredible eye for design and a sharp sense of budget, Krys turned my home into a seamless blend of town and country. She’s organised, connected, and simply a joy to work with!”

Philip, RICHMOND
